Dignity. Awareness. Transformation — from the streets of Delhi to the lives of thousands.
We The Change (WTC) is a New Delhi–based nonprofit founded by sibling duo Farheen Naaz and Abu Sufiyan. Born from a chance encounter during Covid-19 relief work — when a woman quietly asked if anyone was distributing sanitary pads — WTC has grown into a frontline organisation fighting period poverty, menstrual stigma, and women's economic exclusion across India.
With zero corporate pedigree and enormous heart, Farheen and Sufiyan built WTC from the ground up: distributing hygiene kits, training communities, empowering unskilled women with income-generating skills, and educating men and children on consent and gender respect.
"Everyone is distributing rations — but no one is distributing sanitary pads."

Farheen Naaz
Co-Founder & Executive Director
A certified menstrual hygiene instructor with 13+ years in education and social work. Farheen transformed her own childhood experience of menstrual stigma in Old Delhi into a lifelong mission to educate, empower, and normalise.
Abu Sufiyan
Co-Founder & Operations Lead
A rare male voice in the menstrual equity space, Sufiyan brings operational rigor and the conviction that gender justice requires men to be active participants — not bystanders.
Real numbers. Real lives. Real change — happening right now.
From hygiene kits to vocational training, every WTC program is designed to address a specific, urgent gap facing women and girls in underserved communities across India.
Menstrual Health
Provides hygiene kits to over 16,000 underserved menstruators across Delhi, ensuring access to safe, rash-free periods for those who cannot afford basic hygiene products.
Waste Management
Distributed 1.5 lakh disposal bags to promote safe menstrual waste disposal, reducing health risks for sanitation workers and tackling the environmental impact of improper disposal.
Women Entrepreneurship
Empowers unskilled women, lactating mothers, and young girls with vocational training — building confidence and financial independence from within underserved communities.
Education
Equips educators with menstrual health knowledge so awareness spreads organically through schools and communities — multiplying impact without multiplying costs.
Gender Justice
Educates parents, caregivers, and children on consent from an early age — building a culture of respect, healthy boundaries, and safer communities for the next generation.
Sustainability
Advocates for biodegradable, sustainable menstrual products — addressing both accessibility and the growing environmental crisis of disposable plastic menstrual waste.

The programs, the impact, and the day-to-day work featured here are led entirely by the We The Change team.
WTC's work on women's health, economic empowerment, and community education aligns directly with CSAS's mission to strengthen civic institutions and empower South Asian communities.
