WeTheChange (WTC) is dedicated to empowering lives and transforming societies through impactful initiatives. Founded by Farheen Naaz and Abu Sufiyan, WTC focuses on creating awareness and driving societal transformation across four key domains: menstrual health and waste management, youth leadership, women entrepreneurship, and consent education in early childhood.
Requisites: Focus on India-based projects addressing local issues and stories.
Provides financial assistance to schools with financially disadvantaged students, ensuring they receive free textbooks and scholarships through reimbursements.
Empowers teachers with professional training, financial stipends, and access to a range of teaching resources to enhance teaching quality, reduce turnover, and foster a motivated and well-equipped workforce.
Transforms selected schools into centers of excellence through a comprehensive Ecosystem Package, serving as role models for other institutions
WTC has impacted over 16,000 menstruators, distributed 1.5 lakh disposable bags, and sensitized over 35,000 individuals. The initiatives foster community engagement, financial independence, and respect for personal boundaries, contributing to a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world.
WTC is actively advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its initiatives, continuously working towards creating lasting impact and fostering societal transformation.
At the Center on South Asian Studies (CSAS), we believe collaboration is the key to progress. As an Illinois-based nonprofit, in good standing with federal tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to fostering collaboration.
